Open Nesters is a term we devised when we did not like the idea that our lives would now be “empty” without our kids. We wanted more.
Open Nesters invites us to explore more of ourselves as well as one another at this transitional time. Life can offer so much possibility at this juncture. We fully cherish and continue to nurture wonderful relationships with our adult children, yet we also want to live our lives with new curiosity, exploration, and excitement and remain healthy and curious about what comes next.
