As they became Open Nesters, Hezie retired from high tech and began dabbling in the arts and is now a museum consultant, while Aviva took up mountain biking in the hills of Jerusalem which turned into a commitment to her triathlete training.
Kristen & Liam live on the New England Coast. As they became Open Nesters they were in the midst of their journey to sobriety. Their spiritual practices, and Kristen’s work as a yoga and yoga dance teacher, brings them together to dance, drum, and have a renewed appreciation for life.
Julie & David live in Urban CT. She is a high school English teacher and has a career musician & professor for world music. As their sons left the nest, they began exploring new hobbies together to connect more deeply with one another.
From ballroom dancing to… a spiritual practice, yoga, drumming, climbing, these three couples enlighten us to the many possibilities that arise with an open nest. And what about challenges with sobriety and the damage excessive alcohol can do to a relationship?
